LucyPalooza, A Benefit Concert for the Liver Foundation

Great bands from noon to midnight on Saturday, March 3rd, at the Chem Cell Club on Amelia Island, Florida.

LucyPalooza, A Benefit Concert for the Liver FoundationWhat began as an idea to do something different for her birthday, Lucy Green decided to hold a private benefit concert in honor of her father, Henry Burr Green, Jr. who passed away from advanced liver cancer in October 2004.

Lucy explains, “One of my earliest and fondest memories with my dad is dancing to sweet tunes booming from our jukebox in our basement of our Atlanta home. Dad taught me to appreciate the classics, recognize the oldies, and most importantly boogie down! I hope you will come join me in honoring his life, celebrating my quarter century, and raising money for a wonderful and deserving cause!”

This private benefit concert will feature live music from noon to midnight on Saturday, March 3rd, at the Chem Cell Club on Amelia Island, Florida. Some of the bands scheduled to play include Davis Frank (Richmond, VA), Jim Barcaro (Fernandina Beach, FL), Antler Annihilation (FB, FL), John Austill (Jacksonville, FL), SimplexOne (FB, FL), Roar Shark (New Orleans, LA), Chubby (FB, FL), Karl Davis (FB, FL), Woof Foot (Miami, FL) and more.

Invitations are available for a $20.00 donation at Dog Star Tavern or Cafe Karibo; they will be $25.00 on the day of the show. All proceeds will go to the American Liver Foundation.

Please carpool. No glass, weapons, fireworks, drugs or nitrous allowed. Coolers and food are permitted.
