Make Music 2025

make music 2025 nassau county flMake Music 2025 is a day of music that began in France, in 1982. Now, over 2,000 cities world-wide jump on the bandwagon (so to speak) with public music that invites anyone, any skill level, to participate… for FREE.

This community event is happening in Fernandina Beach, June 21, 2025, at several venues in the downtown, historic area. Supporting our local concerts is the Nassau Council of Arts and Culture, a county wide initiative has 13 members who gather to “to improve the appreciation, awareness, and cultural opportunities of all the arts in the community by promoting and enhancing arts”. This music festival will include the courthouse fountain, the farmers market, the pocket park, the marina and other locations, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., where musically talented friends, neighbors, and strangers are matched with venues to share their music… any genre, any age, and any ability. All of this will be free and open to the public.

This is the first time “Make Music Nassau” is participating and the Council intends to make this an annual event. Here are some of the locations:

• The Train Depot
• Pocket Park
• Island Art
• Fountain at the Court House
• The Marina
• Fernandina Beach Market Place
