Need to shop for Valentine’s Day? The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market is the sweet place to be on Saturday morning on North Seventh Street, between Alachua and Centre Streets in historic downtown.

Open rain or shine, the farmers market boasts honey for your Honey, strawberries for your Valentine, and treats for your Sweetheart. All the goodies you need to create a special dinner for the ones you love are available at the Market Place. Fresh baked breads, seasonal produce, jams, and jellies are plentiful. Surf and turf is easy with scallops from Upstream Seafood or shrimp from Chesser Seafood, and a nice steak from JD Beef. Looking for Vegan or gluten-free? We’ve got you covered with Vegan Amelia and Something Good Bakery. Looking for a living gift? There are so many landscaping plants, flowering baskets, and orchids, it may be difficult for you to pick a favorite.

The Arts Market offers books by local authors, hand crafted jewelry, and Collar Cottage has added to their line-up of pet collars, seat belts and leashes to include their new designer, cross body bags with a slot for waste bags and a phone pocket on the outside. Please join these and other artists as they present their homemade crafts to you.

Music will be provided by Gilberto 77, and our Booth With a Cause is the City of Fernandina Beach’s Ocean Rescue. Stop by to learn more about this lifesaving program. Both markets are open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for more information, visit FernandinaBeachMarketPlace.com or FernandinaBeachArtsMarket.com.
