New Vendors Joining the Farmers Market in Fernandina

New vendors in the Fernandina farmers' market including Nana Teresa's, Golden Olive, Press, Mike's Planter Boxes, Cohen Pecans and Vanessa's Posies.

New Vendors Joining the Farmers Market in FernandinaSeveral new vendors have recently joined the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market including local bake shop Nana Teresa’s, The Golden Olive, Press, Mike Smith’s Planter Boxes, Cohen Pecans and Vanessa’s Posies.

The Golden Olive Press was founded, by Brothers Omar and Paul, with the purpose of introducing premium Spanish olive oils to American households. They carry true, extra-virgin olive oils that have been selected on the basis of quality, regulatory accreditation and taste. They guarantee oils of the highest possible quality.

Vanessa’s Posies is delighted to join the Market Place offering plants for indoors, sunrooms and patios, including specialty plants that butterflies and hummingbirds love. Her pots and containers are recycled, and cut flowers are arranged in nosegays (small bouquets) and in French-style handhelds (larger bouquets). Special orders and gift certificates are available. Holiday wreaths and arrangements will be available in the upcoming weeks.

This is the last week Robert, Ever Blooming Gardens, will be joining us on North Seventh Street until January 9, 2016, as he wants to be with his family on Saturdays through the holiday season.

Eddie and Debbie Chesser are selling out of their local, wild caught shrimp each and every week, and with holiday company coming, you may want to pre-order your shrimp to make sure they don’t sell out before you get yours. Call (904) 509-3337 or (904) 485-6853 to place your shrimp order.

Also returning this week will be Steephill Syrup, Olive my Pickle, and our new wood vendor, Aaron Rawls. This week enjoy the music of Jennifer Burns.

The farmers market is located on North Seventh Street in downtown Fernandina Beach. We are open form 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, every Saturday rain or shine.
