Nickel and Dimed at Live Ink Theatre

Nickel and Dimed at Live Ink Theatre

Live, staged readings are now being performed at the Story and Song Bookstore Bistro on Amelia Island.

Fernandina’s Live Ink Theatre offers quality staged readings of thought provoking plays, prose and poetry. The next scheduled performance is this weekend, Saturday – February 2nd at 7:30 p.m., and if you think you can make it home for the Super Bowl by 6:30, there is a show Sunday afternoon, February 3rd, at 4:00 p.m.

Performed by Fran Hindsley, Holly Gutshall, Ruth Charlene Davis, Frank O’Donnell, Samantha Hilliker and Sinda Nichols, this lively staged reading, based on Barbara Ehrenreich’s illuminating book, Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America, gives a voice to those who work for poverty-level wages.

Performances are at the Story & Song Bookstore Bistro, 1430 Park Avenue, in Fernandina Beach.

$20.00 tickets are on sale now at the Story & Song Bookstore Bistro, by calling 601-2118, or online at LiveInkTheatre.com

Look for “Dear Elizabeth” to be read in March 2019.
