Ribbon Cutting – Amelia Boat Club & Rentals

Amelia Island Yacht Basin, 251 Creekside Dr., Fernandina Beach
Join Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the new owners and name of Amelia Boat Club & Rentals with a ribbon cutting.
The boat club was previously known as Suntex Boat Club and Watersports and operated by the Amelia Island Yacht Basin. Monty and Capprice Kitchen recently purchased the business and changed the name to reflect the community. The boats and business remain at the Amelia Island Yacht Basin, but the location within the marina has moved to Dock E.
Amelia Boat Club & Rentals still provides boat club memberships (offering a hassle-free, convenient boating alternative to boat ownership) and boat & waverunner rentals to the public.

Ribbon Cutting – Amelia National Tennis Club

Join Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Directors as we celebrate the opening of the Amelia National Tennis Club with a ribbon cutting!
The Amelia National Tennis Club is a private tennis club that will offer eight state-of-the-art illuminated Har-Tru Clay Courts including two stadium courts. The Amelia National Tennis Club is staged to offer distinguished tennis programs under the direction of Owner and Director of Tennis Joe Mattingly. The highly trained staff, including Head Tennis Professional Vishnu Maharaj, are available to provide you with both private and group lesson instruction.
Amelia National Tennis club will offer Family, Couple, Single, Junior and Snowbird memberships.
Additional club amenities will include a 1500-square-foot club house complete with viewing deck and a full-service pro shop including a racquet customization center, stringing services, apparel from a variety of today’s top brands. A lounge area includes flat screen TVs and comfortable changing areas for both men and women.

Yulee Area Council

Connect with local business owners and professionals, generate referrals and discuss issues of interest to the Yulee business community at the AIFBY Chamber’s Yulee Area Council.
In October, the Yulee Area Council will meet at Missy’s Kitchen on US 17, just south of the intersection with A1A/SR 200. Missy’s breakfast buffet will be available for $7.49.

Nassau County Small Business Worksite Wellness Breakfast

The Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce, the Nassau County Health Improvement Coalition and the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council invite you to the inaugural Nassau County Small Business Worksite Wellness Breakfast for information and tips on creating healthy work environments that make it easier for employees to make healthy choices.
Come learn about evidence-based programs that increase employee engagement, productivity and overall employee well-being while networking with wellness leaders, business owners, HR specialists and physicians.
Sign up to receive free consulting services to develop a worksite wellness program at your company through a program funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control.
Cost to attend the event is $10 and includes buffet breakfast.
Vendors may promote their wellness programs-related business with an informational table at the event. Cost (which includes one breakfast admission) is $20 for AIFBY Chamber members, $100 for non-members.

Business After Hours – Quality Health Amelia Island

Connect with up to 150 Chamber members at Business After Hours, Nassau County’s biggest networking event, sponsored in October by Quality Health.
Business After Hours is a great way to meet other local business people and make contacts that can help generate referrals for your business, so be sure to bring plenty of business cards! There is always great food, drinks and door prizes.
