This is a great cake that is so easy to make.
There are two secrets to the success of this cake:
1. DO NOT use the mixer
2. DO NOT grease the Pan.
Ingredients:
2 Cups of all purpose flour
2 Cups of sugar
2 Tbsp baking soda; mix and add…
1 Tsp vanilla
1 Cup of chopped nuts (optional)
1 Can of (1-lb. 4-oz.) crushed pineapple- DO NOT DRAIN JUICE
MIX all ingredients together with a spoon in a 9×13 pan
BAKE at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Let it completely cool, then add toppings.
TOPPINGS:
1/2 Cup OLEO margarine
1 1/2 Cups powdered sugar
1 Tsp vanilla extract
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 Cup whipping cream
SPREAD ON COOL CAKE, SLICE AND SERVE
Directions:
This tastes better after spending the night in the refrigerator. Serve with hot coffee!
This takes about 15 minutes to prepare and 45 minutes to bake. Everyone will want to know how you did it… and it is ohhh sooo good.
