Paul Massing Exhibit of Portraiture and Classics in Fernandina Beach

Paul Massing studied art and illustration and graduated from The Albright Art School in Buffalo, NY. He was an active member of various art organizations in NY where he had numerous one man shows and group exhibits.

A career move in industrial gases took him to Texas in 1980 which left him little time to pursue art endeavors until he retired in 1992. In 1994 he found Amelia Island,  made his home here and went back to painting and drawing. Besides being represented in private and corporate art collections in the U.S. and Canada and he can also be seen at the St. Augustine Art Society in St. Augustine, FL and the Arts Center in St. Petersburg, FL. and now at the Seventh Street Gallery, which invites art lovers to a showing of Paul’s latest works.

In addition to his captivating abstract work, Paul will be sharing another side – portraiture! The show features some of his newest work, which is signature Massing: rich in color, vibrant with energy, and elegant in spirit.
