Property Appraiser's Office Wears Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Property Appraiser Supports Breast CancerNassau County, FL – On October 8th the Property Appraiser’s Office wore pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women in which 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime. The office chose to show their support in honor of the 230,000 women who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) is a collaboration of national public service organizations, professional medical associations, and government agencies working together to promote breast cancer awareness, share information on the disease, and provide greater access to services.
