Rotary’s Amelia Challenge Helps Eradicate Polio (Video)

Rotary District 6970 is dedicated to doing their part in the Rotary International goal of eradicating polio around the world.

Amelia Challenge 2010The Amelia Challenge 2010 is this Saturday, October 23rd at the Atlantic Avenue Recreation Centre in Fernandina Beach. This fund raising event for the Rotary Club of Amelia Island, Sunrise is a day of fun for the entire family.

AC2010 is a sport and intellectual competition that includes bicycle races, walks, runs and mental challenges is presented by Baptist Medical Center Nassau. Other activities a jump house for the kids and food by Sony’s BBQ available on-site.

The fun starts at 9:00 AM and the team who completes their Amelia Island Challenge Puzzle first will be named the AC2010 Challenge Champion. Come on out and cheer for your favorite team! To learn more about AC2010, go to the website www.ameliaChallenge.com.

The Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise meets every Friday from 7:30 am to 8:30 am at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club.
