SEC Week Three Picks

SEC Week Three Picks

Week two of college football is over and we learned a little this week. Florida struggled for the first half against South Florida, FSU was taught a few things by Oklahoma, Georgia showed that they weren’t quite prepared for a Steve Spurrier driven South Carolina team and Tennessee didn’t handle an Oregon team that perhaps is better than anyone predicted this season.

Our third week of SEC (and FSU) football pics are sponsored by Halftime Sports Bar and Grill on 8th Street in Fernandina Beach. If you haven’t been there yet, you should stop by. They have boxes that let you control the sound of the game you want to hear conveniently at your table!

This week’s celebrity guest is Neal Gupton, the drummer from the rockin’ trio, Blistur. Blistur is currently preparing for their upcoming CD release concert and party that will be held in Jacksonville, Florida in late October. We will bring you the latest details as they become available, but it looks like they will be filming a music video at the event. The rumors I am hearing is the event will be near Halloween and concert goers are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. Who knows? You may just be featured in their music video!

Go Dawgs! Sic ’em, woof, woof, woof!

Here are the results from week two’s games:

Thanks Dave. Since, as you know, I have no clue about football, other than the headlines the extreme outer edges of my eyes and ears catch in the news, my picks are often (if not always) influenced by other facts and circumstances that correlate. I’m currently reading a not so nice book about Alabama. It may have had something to do with my pick.
