Our real estate market in Nassau County, Florida, is still at a slow crawl at best. The past seven days have not shown any signs of renewed life. The number of sold residential units for all of Nassau County was only seven. Residential units under contract for the same time period for the county were 10.

Sold residential units on Amelia Island for past seven days were four. Residential units under contract for the same time period were four.

Our local real estate market continues to drag on at a slow pace. I feel we still have a long way to go before the market sparks any significant signs of rebound, at least for our local market. Buyers are continuing to look for bargain basement pricing. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the market will turn and soon. The longer this drags on the lower in value our own properties will be.
