Sounds on Center is a free community concert held the First Friday of each month from March through October at the foot of Centre Street in historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The event runs from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Bring your chairs and your dancing shoes and feel free to dance in the streets along with the sounds of a variety of bands playing danceable oldies, shag and current hits. The Historic Fernandina Business Association presents this family event with the help of additional local businesses such as Rick Keffer Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Atlantic Coast Bank, Rayonier, Terra Pointe, the News Leader, Remax, Florida Public Utilities, Smurfit-Stone, Coke and P-5 Productions.
