Spend the night at White Oak Conservation Center in an extraordinary lodge. Perfect chance to experience a wake-up call from the wild.
Nestled along the St. Mary’s River you will enjoy entertainment, activites, food and beverage and an unbelievable view of nature.
The cost is a bit steep for me personally, but for many living on or visiting Amelia Island, the donation of $500 per family, plus $350 per adult and $100 per additional guest, and $85.00 for children ages 7 to 12 is an affordable once in a lifetime experience. Prices include accommodations, activities and three meals, but only two people per room are permitted in this intimate setting. Additional deposits and restrictions apply so call for details.
This special adventure is available only through August 22nd and there is a limit of ten guests per night.
Bring along your camera because one of activities includes a morning “feed run” where you join the staff as they deliver morning meals to the wildlife at the Conservation Center!
Prearranged alcoholic beverages are offered with meals, additional alcoholic beverages may be purchased. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available in your lodge. From the extraordinary antiques inside to the breathtaking views from a lodge’s balcony, nothing compares to the comfort and extras when lodging at White Oak.
Each lodge is equipped with internet, cable television and phones. Bicycles are available and you are welcome to take walks along the wooded trails throughout the property. You may also spend time at the Big Game Room, which features pool tables, a full bar, video games and a bowling alley.
Many other activies are available. Please call (904) 225-3396 or send them an email for more information.
