Spring Classes at Betty Cook and St. Peter'sSpring classes are being offered at the “Center for Lifelong Learning” and will be held at the Florida State College Betty P. Cook Nassau Center and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

The Center for Lifelong Learning program has served over 1,200 students since the fall of 2000. Classes offered for Spring Term are listed below. The registration fee for each class is $50 with the exception of the Digital Camera class which is only $40.00.

The classes held at Florida State College Nassau Center include:

    -Chinese Folk Religion, with instructor James Kemp- meets Tuesdays, February 7 through February 28, from 10AM – Noon
    -How to use a Digital Camera, with instructor Wayne Howard, meets Wednesdays, February 8 through February 22, 1-2PM.
    -Image Editing for Digital Photographers, with instructor Wayne Howard – meets Wednesdays, February 8 through March 14, 3-4:30PM.
    -I Turned on the Computer… Now What? with instructors Ken Ward and Catherine Hodges – meets Thursdays, February 9 through March 15, 10:30AM-12:30PM. For more information, contact Ken or Catherine at 904.548.4467.

    -Amelia Island Backwater Fishing, with instructor Lawrence Piper – meets Thursdays, February 16 through March 15, 6-8PM.

    -Oenology 101 – How to Enjoy Wine, with instructor Robert Weintraub – meets Tuesdays, February 7 through March 20, 1-3PM.
    -Treasure Hunting 101, with instructor Scott Jensen- meets Tuesdays, February 14 through March 6, 6-8PM.
    -James Joyce: Dubliners, with instructor Bernie McCabe – meets Wednesdays, February 1 through March 21, 10AM-noon.
    -Comparative Mythology, with instructor Nancy Dickson – meets Thursdays, February 9 through March 15, 10AM-Noon.
    -Great Decisions 2012, with instructor Peter Johnson, meets Thursdays, February 2 through March 22, 2-4PM.
