Micah’s Place will distribute every item donated to a child in our program. Monetary donations are helpful too, and are tax deductible.
Walmart in Fernandina Beach has chosen Micah’s Place as the recipient of a $1,500 grant to help support life saving domestic violence programs in Nassau County.

The 2nd annual event, which kicked off at Central Park on April 25th, took runners on a trek down Atlantic Avenue, with a finish line near the Park.
Enjoy Food Trucks and vendors, FREE Kid’s Zone with no entry fee, Beer and Wine Tent, Hula Hooping, and Lots of live music by local musicians.

Micah’s Place, a Certified Domestic Violence Center in Nassau County, has announced the selection of Heather Woody Jones as its new Chief Executive Officer.
It’s breezy at the beach, so to keep the Luminary grounded at Relay we are using canned foods to weigh down the bags; donations will be given to Micah’s Place after the event.
Luminaria bags used during Relay For Life will be weighed down by cans of food from our Food Drive; after Relay the cans will be donated to Micah’s Place.
Domestic violence shelters are rarely equipped to accept animals, and sadly many victims stay in abusive homes rather than leave a pet behind to face torture or even death.
Micah’s Place provides shelter for victims of domestic violence and you can help by donating to keep their pantry well stocked.
This event will be held at Osprey Village on February 13. There will be an amazing wine selection and raffle tickets will be sold for terrific prizes.
