Summer begins on June 21st, which is also Father’s Day, and what better way to kick-off the summer season than strolling through Fernandina Beach’s downtown farmers market?
Bring your dad and treat him to some of the fabulous items you will find at the Market Place. There are seasonal fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies, honey, potted plants and herbs, fresh brewed coffee, delicious smoothies, pastries and more.
Returning this week is White Hawk, a goat farm from Yulee, Florida that brings eggs, goat milk and a variety of goat soaps. Rose returns with her Unbelievable Egg Rolls that are made from her grandmother’s authentic Vietnamese recipe, and Olive My Pickle is back with hummus, grape leave rolls, and barrels full of pickles and olives. And our musical entertainment will be provided by the fabulous Jim Barcaro.
The Fernandina Beach Market Place is open every Saturday on North Seventh Street, between Alachua and Centre, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, rain or shine.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor, or performing at the farmers’ market, please visit our website: www.FernandinaBeachMarketPlace.com for more information.
