Basic Course
SWIM ΒΌ mile in the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean (beach start) with a fresh water shower into transition #1. Swim caps are provided in your race packet and are REQUIRED during the swim.
BIKE 16 miles flat, fast, out & back course along the coastline of scenic Amelia Island on Northeast Florida’s beautiful Atlantic Coast.
RUN 3 miles out and back with water available at mile markers thru the North Fletcher island community.

Olympic Course
SWIM 1.5k [0.93 miles] In the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean (beach start) with a fresh water shower into transition #1. Swim caps are provided in your race packet and are REQUIRED during the swim.
BIKE 40k [24.7 miles] Flat (Except for the bridge), fast course thru the scenic Amelia Island on N.E. Florida’s beautiful Atlantic coast.
RUN 10k [6.2 miles] Out & back with water stations at mile marks. The run course is through the North Fletcher island community.

Here are the day of event times:
6:00 AM Registration Opens; Day of Race registration (if available), check-in, packet pick up.
7:30 AM – First Wave Start
10:00 AM – Awards Ceremony (time is approximate)

This race is LIMITED to 600 athletes, so be sure to register early to reserve your slot. Race entries are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Projected water temperature is estimated at 83 degrees.

This is a USAT Sanctioned Event

Day of Race Registration will only be available if the event is not already full:
Sprint – Individual $105.00
Sprint – Relay Team $210.00
Olympic – Individual $125.00
Olympic – Relay $250.00

USAT athletes must provide a valid USAT# and present their USAT card & photo ID at registration. A $50 Annual license can be purchased at www.usatmembership.com (For athletes under 17 years of age, price is $10 for an annual membership) Non-USAT licensed athletes must purchase the $15 one-day license. This is available during on-line registration.

The USAT Age rule requires that all participants race by birth year rather than their age on race day. This means your race age will be the same for all sanctioned events for an entire calendar year. The age group of a participant will be determined by age on Dec. 31 of the event year, not by age on race day. For example: If you turn 25 years old in July, you will race and be ranked in the 25-29 age group for the entire season.
