Lee Moon, Athletic Director of the University of North Florida, recently gave a presentation to the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise.
He discussed the university’s 19 sports programs pointing out their numerous successes in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Last year they competed in nine conference championships. Their 278 student athletes have an impressive 3.28 GPA.

The Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise meets at 7:30 in the morning on Fridays at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club. The original Rotary club on the island is the Fernandina Beach Rotary Club that meets on Wednesdays at 12:00 at the Florida House Inn.
