What's Up Saturday at the Farmers MarketHere is “What’s up” at the farmers’ market in downtown Fernandina Beach. First of all, the market has seen incredible support from our Fernandina Beach community and many vendors, while they continue to bring additional quantities of their products each week, are continuing to experience sell-out Saturdays! It is best you arrive early to make sure your favorite vendors have what you are looking for!

With nearly 40 vendors attending the Fernandina Beach Market Place each and every Saturday, we have a few vendors who join us once or twice a month like Steephill Vermont Syrup, White Hawk Farm, and River City Gourmet.

Steephill Vermont Syrup are Snowbirds Bob and Lynn who bring authentic, Grade A Fancy, Medium Amber and Dark Amber syrup from their Vermont farm. They also have Grade B Dark syrup and fresh Maple creme, along with their genuine, hard or soft, maple candies.

White Hawk Farm comes to us all the way from Yulee, Florida, and they bring fresh, raw goat milk and a variety of eggs. If the forecast continues to promise a gorgeous February day on Saturday, Andy will also bring his pet goat, Aruba. Aruba is a farmers market favorite for kids and adults alike.

River City Gourmet, formerly known as Dips 2 Go, sells homemade spice mixes and rubs. Having expanded their line of products they now carry gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Owners Sherry and Mitch strive to bring you different, exciting and unusual flavors to enhance your cooking experience.

We will also have our regular vendors bringing seasonal produce, fresh baked breads and pastries, honey, dog treats, pasta, goat cheese, pies, candies, beef jerky, jelly, and much, much more. Music will be provided by the Hambone Stumps Band.

The Fernandina Beach Market Place is open rain or shine. We are open from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and are located on North Seventh Street, between Centre and Alachua Streets, on Amelia Island. To become a vendor or to learn more please visit www.FernandinaBeachMarketPlace.com.
